Beauty World Bus Interchange Set to Complete in 2023

The Bukit Timah-Rochor Green Corridor is a proposed route connecting Singapore’s three national gardens. Once completed, the Bukit Timah-Rochor Green Corridor will link the three national gardens and provide an integrated transport hub. The proposed route also includes community building and environmental features. A new mixed-use integrated transport node will inject new life into the district and improve commuting experience.

Bukit Timah-Rochor Green Corridor will connect Singapore’s three national gardens

This new linkage will provide a scenic route for The Reserve Residences people to enjoy Singapore’s three national gardens. The Corridor will link up existing roads, rail corridor, and natural landscapes. The first phase of the Bukit Timah-Rochor Green Corridor will consist of an elevated connection from the Rail Corridor to Jalan Kampong Chantek. In the future, the green corridor may extend to Kallang Riverside Park.

The Bukit Timah-Rochor Corridor will run parallel to the Bukit-Timah Canal near to The Reserve Residences location. It will provide a pedestrian-friendly, uninterrupted path that connects Jurong Lake Gardens, the Singapore Botanic Gardens, and Gardens by the Bay. Construction of the Corridor will begin this year, and the new greenway will be extended to Kallang Riverside Park.

Integrated transport hub

The Integrated transport hub at the new Beauty World development will include a 20,000 sq m air-conditioned bus interchange, an underground link to the station and several community spaces at The Reserve Residences. The ITH will also be connected to the nearby Beauty World MRT station, making commuting from one area to the next a breeze. Residents of Forett at Bukit Timah can easily access the ITH and use the buses to get to Bukit Batok EC work or to the malls.

The Integrated transport hub for Beauty World will comprise a mixed development with commercial and residential spaces. The development will include a bus interchange on the second level. The new integrated transport hub is expected to improve accessibility and enhance the vibrancy of the surrounding precinct. The project will also include lush landscaping and interesting public spaces. The overall vision is to create an urban hub within the Beauty World estate, with a high-rise residential tower and a new MRT station to connect residents.

Community building

The beauty of the new mixed-use community is the proximity to transport and other amenities near to The Reserve Residences. The new bus interchange will be a convenient way to connect residents to downtown. Located in the centre of Brisbane, Beauty World is a prime area for new developments. The rezoned area will include future residential plots, a hawker centre, community hub, commercial outlets, and an MRT station. Once completed, the entire area will be an urban hub with community events and services.

The new Beauty World bus interchange will be a convenient place for commuters to transfer to the MRT station. It will also have underground connections to the nearby Beauty World MRT station. As part of the project, URA is also planning to develop an integrated transport hub in Beauty World that will connect the new bus interchange to the surrounding MRT station and shopping malls. Once completed, it will provide a convenient way for residents to get to work, run errands, and shop at nearby retail outlets. Eventually, the new interchange will be connected to the Cross Island Line, making it even more accessible to commuters.

Location

A future Integrated Transport Hub is planned for the vicinity of Beauty World, near the Downtown Line MRT station. Designed as a transport node for residents of the neighbourhood, the new station is a central point for convenient transfers from bus services to the rail network. It is bordered by Jalan Jurong Kechil, Upper Bukit Timah Road, and Anak Bukit Flyover. For commuters, the new bus interchange will greatly improve the convenience and comfort of public transportation.
